We wanted a world where the oceans were healthy. Where fish, turtles and whales wouldn’t mistake a piece of plastic for food. Where every human wasn’t eating plastic waste.
And where there could be a happy future for us all.

We know that you want that as well.
We know that plastic bottles are bad for every hospitality brand.

We have a simple solution.

Welcome to the Blue Zone. Pure water. No plastic.
Welcome, Investors and their Advisors.

AWARENESS OF PLASTIC POLLUTION IN THE OCEANS IS GROWING.
BLUU IS THE SOLUTION.

Bottled water today comes in a plastic water bottle. Looks safe enough, but serving water to guests in the ubiquitous plastic bottle damages the environment, guest health, a reputation and a brand.

Public awareness about the dangers of plastic, water quality, environmentally and health wise, is growing. This is particularly true in upper income patrons who are generally highly informed and health conscious.

How much plastic is there in the ocean?

Plastic pollution in the ocean frequently appears as seabird guts filled with cigarette lighters and bottle caps, marine mammals entangled in fishing gear and drifting plastic bags mimicking a gelatinous meal. Last year, a study estimated that around eight million metric tons of our plastic waste enter the oceans from land each year. - World Economic Forum

Ocean Plastic Field-Trip for Corporate Executives.
Recycling is broken. The oceans are trashed. As the plastics crisis spirals out of control, an unlikely collection of executives and environmentalists set sail for the North Atlantic Gyre in a desperate attempt to find common ground. - Rowen Jacobson, Outside

The chemicals found in water bottled in plastic
are increasingly concerning to guests.

As many as 24,520 suspect chemicals can be found in 18 bottled water brands.

Tap water is by no means something to reach for when looking to achieve optimal health (check this out to see why that is). Fluoride and chloride are ubiquitous, legal additives for tap water. But unfortunately, the common alternative of bottled water isn’t really much better. Not only does the massive amount of plastic used to produce bottled water desecrate our lands and oceans, but research has actually found bottled water to harness thousands of health-destructive chemicals. - Natural Society 2015

Reverse osmosis and distilled water? Also, a bad choice. The body requires important, safe minerals to function. World Health Organization Study

Plastic particles found in water bottled in plastic.

Drinking from a plastic water bottle likely means ingesting microplastic particles, a new study claims, prompting fresh concerns — and calls for scientific research — on the possible health implications of widespread plastics pollution. - Time Magazine
"Bluu is remaking the disposable economy, first, by removing single use plastic from the supply chain starting with hotels and restaurants.
Second, we will replace all single-use water service items with non-disposable and reusable options.
Bluu taps into the emotional and actual reality that our material supply and food chain is entirely poisoned from plastic made from fossil fuels when there are other material alternatives: glass, aluminum or biodegradable. And, from this day forward, we will not play a part in the use-it-once-throw-it-away economy.

Introducing Bluu Aluminum.

Aluminum is 100% recyclable. It can be recycled an unlimited number of times.
75% of all aluminum ever produced is still in use today. Recycling a bottle takes 5% of the energy to make a new one. Our Bluu bottle is reusable and recyclable. Join the BluuZone

Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a 100 watt light bulb for 20 hours, a computer for 3 hours, and a TV for 2 hours. Even though aluminum is the most valuable recyclable material, aluminum cans still make it to the landfill. Americans throw away nearly $1 billion å worth of aluminum cans each year.

We have a long and pleasant memory of reusable glass bottles. From the ubiquitous classic Coke bottle, to the bottles our milk used to come in these bottles were a welcome part of our lives. Bluu plans to bring back those days of reuse, recycle and repurpose, as well as respect for product purity and of our one and only environment.

We Can’t Solve the Plastics Crisis With Other Disposables.
We Must be Part of the Reusable Economy to Make a Difference.

“To truly tackle the pollution crisis without exacerbating other crises, we must shift toward systems of reuse and refill, fundamentally rethinking how products are brought to people,”
“Any solution that is based around continuing a throwaway culture must be looked at skeptically.”
